Boys & Girls Club of Greater Kansas City

About Us

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Kansas City provides youth, ages 5-18, in our community with access to dynamic programs, experiences, opportunities and resources designed to keep them on track for high school graduation with post-secondary plans in place. Three of our ten local Club sites are in Independence (our Independence Unit at 315 S. Leslie Ave.; our Hawthorne Unit at 16995 Dover Lane in the Hawthorne Place Apartments community and our school-based site at Nowlin Middle School). Membership fees are $25/month to ensure there are no barriers for any young person to take part in the learning environment that exists inside of our Clubs. Membership fees do not apply at school-based sites.
