Maintenance Worker
Job Summary: The Maintenance Person will perform various maintenance tasks to ensure efficient and safe operation of our facilities. This includes routine inspections, repairs, and preventive maintenance of equipment, buildings, and grounds.
Salary: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular inspections of buildings, equipment, and systems to identify and address maintenance needs.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as painting, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC system maintenance.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with other team members and departments to address maintenance issues.
- Manage inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment.
- Assist in the development and implementation of preventive maintenance programs.
- Ensure fleet vehicle maintenance, oil change, tire rotation, etc.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- High school diploma, associate degree preferred
- Three years of experience as a maintenance person or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of building systems, including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical ability to perform manual labor and lift heavy objects.
- Basic computer skills required.
- Must be able to lift at least 55 pounds.
- Must own a valid driver’s license & a reliable vehicle.
You must complete Trauma Informed Education/Training to become aware and sensitive and respond to youth, families, and colleagues with a trauma-informed approach.
Job Type: Temporary contract. Full-time, starting December 31 through March 1
Expected hours: 8 am to 4 pm
