Workplace Active Shooter Training
The Independence Police Department will be offering an Active Shooter Training for businesses on Tuesday, June 21st from 11:30 am-1:00pm.
*Lunch provided
Topics that will be covered:
- Workplace Violence statistics, possible violence triggers
- Active Shooter incident discussion from past events
- Response to Active Shooter including Run Hide Fight model
- Methods to barricade/secure rooms, evacuation policy considerations
