You're invited to celebrate and support your favorite small businesses and all they do for our community on Saturday, November 25th -- (the Saturday after Thanksgiving)
SMALL BUSINESS SATURDAY® PLANNED FOR INDEPENDENCE
Join the Chamber, the Independence EDC, and the Independence Square Association for this holiday shopping tradition in supporting and shopping LOCAL small businesses with a community breakfast to kick off a day of supporting local with a community breakfast.
WHAT TO EXPECT:
Get into the holiday spirit at the Exchange Event Space (Courthouse Exchange) as we welcome Santa Claus to town for a delightful morning of merriment and a mouthwatering breakfast! Join us for a festive event where you can show your support for local businesses and magic of the season.
Bring your little ones along for a delicious breakfast while they share their Christmas wishes with Santa himself. Your breakfast ticket not only grants you access to this heartwarming experience but also includes $5 in Square Bucks, which you can use at downtown merchants, a family 4-pack of movie tickets for a special screening of "Candy Cane Lane" starring Eddie Murphy at the Pharaoh Theatre (be sure to purchase your tickets by November 17th to get the free movie passes), a reusable shopping bag, and quality time with your neighbors and friends.
Capture the enchanting moments with Santa by bringing your camera along. Naughty or nice, your child is bound to leave with a beaming smile and cherished memories. And after the breakfast, make sure to explore the Square's local merchants to check off your holiday shopping list. Don't worry about gift wrapping; we've got that covered from 10:30 am to 2 pm, with donations gladly accepted.
