Mid-Continent Public Library - Veteran's Salute

Join us at the Midwest Genealogy Center for the Library’s annual tribute to the service and sacrifice of our community’s veterans. This year’s event will feature guest speaker Dr. James Willbanks, General of the Army George C. Marshall Chair of Military History at the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College at Ft. Leavenworth. Other featured events include a sneak peek from KCPT’s upcoming Ken Burns Vietnam War documentary, military artifacts and memorabilia, fun family activities, and a pinning ceremony for all attending veterans.
