The "Independence Uncorked" Wine Festival will be held on September, 13th from 1:00pm-6:00pm on the grounds of the Historic Bingham-Waggoner Estate in Independence, MO. Independence Uncorked will be one of the largest Missouri wine festivals in the state featuring over 20 Missouri wineries sampling several of their wines and over 2000 attendees. The day will also feature art, music, food booths and wine classes. The event is sponsored by the Rotary Club of Eastern Independence and presented by Cornell Roofing and Sheet Metal. The cost will be $20 in advance and $25 at the door and will include a wine glass. The Bingham-Waggoner Estate is an 1852 mansion and estate once owner by George Caleb Bingham, the famous Missouri artist.
