Family Fun Day

Join the Friends of the National Frontier Trails Museum for a day of free family fun! Spend the day learning about the historic western trails with hands-on activities for the whole family. Kids can pack their wagon for a journey on the Oregon Trail, take a wagon ride, watch a blacksmith demonstration, or visit a Civil War encampment. There will even be an old-time photo trailer so you can remember your visit.

 

All outdoor activities are free to the public. Museum admission is also free with proof of Independence residence. Food and beverage available for purchase.
