Thursday, April 24, 2014 will find some of the most successful and dynamic companies operating throughout Eastern Jackson County on the main floor of the Independence Events Center for the Eastern Jackson County Business Expo. From 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm that day, dozens and dozens of the most recognizable business names in Missouri’s second largest county will be displaying, explaining, and demonstrating their products and services for the representatives of their fellow businesses in Eastern Jackson County and hundreds of qualified potential customers/clients. Each business exhibitor will be providing multiple demonstrations during the event or giving away multiple door prizes to those in attendance. With each participating business inviting their 50 best customers from the region to be their guest at the event, attendance is expected to exceed several thousand qualified prospects. The event is being organized and presented through the combined efforts of several Chambers of Commerce in Eastern Jackson County.
This business to business event will be preceded by a luncheon presentation for the members of area Chambers of Commerce from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm in the south concourse of the Independence Events Center. The luncheon event requires a separate registration outside of the Eastern Jackson County Business Expo participation. Approximately 200 attendees are expected for the luncheon event. Attendees of the luncheon presentation will exit the building through the expo hall at 2:00 pm allowing them the additional benefit of participating in the Expo before returning to work that day.
Live music will fill the halls of the business to business expo for most of the day. Additionally, a complimentary beverage service for attendees will be provided beginning at 4:00 pm that day. A booth design/decoration contest is being offered to all exhibitors to help identify the most effective booth presentation and operation in attracting visitors to the booth during the day and for making the products or services offered at that booth memorable. Judging will be done by marketing and media professionals from the region not affiliated with the expo.
While more than 5000 complimentary tickets to the event will be distributed to established customers and clients of the exhibiting businesses and the attendees from the luncheon presentation for free access to the 2014 Eastern Jackson County Business Expo, the event is also open to the general public with a nominal admission charge at the door the day of the event.
All potential exhibitors must be members in good standing from one of the following Chambers of Commerce: Grain Valley, Grandview, Independence, or Raytown. For businesses wishing to participate or secure more information about the event, contact Alex at 816-252-4745 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
