About Gaels: Gaels Public House and Sports is the passion project of Derrick Bachman, a seasoned veteran in Kansas City's food & entertainment scene. This century-old building has evolved from a simple tavern to a vibrant gathering hub under Derrick's vision. A place where local families, students, and longtime friends of Derrick all come together.

Gaels is the first Kansas City restaurant to earn the honor of being a "Safe Place" for youth in crisis- a sanctuary where help is just a step away, in partnership with Synergy Services
