The Independence Police Department will be offering Active Shooter Training for Businesses on Thursday, January 10th at 11:30 am.

- Workplace Violence statistics, possible violence triggers
- Active Shooter incident discussion: Columbine, Sandy Hook, Virginia Tech, Inland Regional Center
- Response to Active Shooter including Run Hide Fight model
- Methods to barricade/secure rooms, evacuation policy considerations
